THE STORY SO FAR

Raised in and around San Francisco California, Tanner Geertsen was privy to the tech explosion, which took hold in the Bay Area since the early 2000s. He witnessed the immense redevelopment of his city which saw the rise of massive and gleaming new towers, revitalization of the old, and the ushering in of the new technologically savvy era. Inspired by all the rapid change and progressive thinking around him, he decided to pursue a creative outlet that had stirred interest and passion within him, architecture and design. He took up the initiative and moved to Los Angeles to attend Otis College of Art and Design. There he learned the tools to express and communicate his visions and developed his style.

Tanner, a determined and ambitious individual, dedicated five years of his life after university to perfecting his craft within the architectural industry. With relentless passion and perseverance, Tanner diligently honed his skills and expertise during this time, immersing himself in various projects and experiences that would shape his career.

In the year 2021, Tanner's hard work and commitment secured him a position as a Project Manager at MIXT / SPLIT, a prominent restaurant chain in the Bay Area & CA. This opportunity allowed him to further refine his project management skills, enhancing his ability to oversee and coordinate complex architectural endeavors. Within the walls of MIXT, Tanner found himself surrounded by a team of talented professionals who shared his drive for excellence. Leading teams of architects, engineers, and designers, he navigated the intricate landscape of construction projects, meticulously managing timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful outcomes.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Tanner remained dedicated to his personal growth and development as a leader. He eagerly sought out opportunities to expand his knowledge base, attending conferences, workshops, and networking events that allowed him to stay at the forefront of industry trends and innovations.

Today, he is always looking for new opportunities, challenges, and welcomes collaboration!
